Who we are

Himalayan Ritual Co. ("we", "us") sells tea, coffee and related goods at himalayanritual.co. For any privacy question or request, contact us at hello@himalayanritual.co.

What we collect and why

When you place an order we collect your name, email address, shipping address and details of what you bought. We use this information to fulfil your order, send you order and dispatch confirmations, handle returns, and meet our legal record-keeping obligations. The lawful basis is performance of a contract with you.

Payment details are handled by our payment processor, Stripe — card numbers never touch our servers. Stripe's privacy policy is at stripe.com/privacy.

Cookies

We use a single strictly-necessary session cookie to keep your basket working while you shop. We do not use advertising, analytics or tracking cookies, and we do not show a cookie banner because none is required for essential cookies.

Who we share data with

Only the services needed to run the shop: our hosting provider (Railway), our payment processor (Stripe), and delivery carriers who receive your name and address to deliver your parcel. We never sell your data.

How long we keep it

Order records are kept for six years to satisfy UK tax and accounting rules, then deleted.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct or delete it, object to or restrict our use of it, and ask for it in a portable format. Email hello@himalayanritual.co and we'll respond within one month. If you're unhappy with how we handle your data you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
